Ricky Barnes took a little longer to get to the PGA TOUR than many expected but now that he's there, the former Arizona All-American appears to be making all the right moves. And if Barnes can duplicate the progress he made last year during the 2011 season, we just might see him in the winner's circle soon.
Barnes proved his tie for second at the 2009 U.S. Open was no fluke when he posted six top-10 finishes last year. One of those came at the Masters, where the Californian shot 5 under to tie for 10th. He followed that with a tie for fifth the following week at the annual "exhale" at the Verizon Heritage.
